Inspired by the above
Chinese proverb, Alma Mater was founded on February
14, 1995 by T T Rangarajan
with a vision to awaken humanity. It was established
with the resolve to make every individual maximise and
actualise his potential, not just temporarily but as
a way of life, for Alma Mater believes that all human
beings have infinite potential but only a few perform
to their full potential.
Alma Mater's training methodology
is scientific and unique and has been developed after
extensive research. It does not comprise lectures or
course material but experience-based learning. Alma
Mater believes in holistic growth and development and
focuses on the physical, mental, intellectual, emotional
and spiritual planes. Alma Mater works on sharpening
attitudinal skills, reconditioning the mind of the individual
and creating a spiritual awareness of the self and of
life. Alma Mater's striving is to create a humanity
that can make its highest self, its permanent self.
Since 1995, Alma Mater has mentored
thousands of individuals, ranging from students, housewives,
businessmen and corporate managers and hundreds of organisations,
and created turnarounds in their worlds. Alma Mater
has shown them how to integrate their standard of life
with quality of life. Alma Mater has transferred its
belief that 'Path breakers are path finders' and motivated
individuals, corporate and educational institutions
to innovate, introduce, implement and integrate competitive
and creative strategies, and thereby operate from a
higher pedestal.
As an extension to Alma Mater’s resolve in
creating a humanity of peak performers,
Frozen Thoughts, an exclusive monthly growth magazine
of international standards, was launched on August
15, 2000. The present readership is estimated at around
4,00,000 per month across the globe. Frozen Thoughts
is more than a magazine. It is an awakening. Spirituality,
Religion & Science, Management, Selling, Relationship,
Marriage, Parenting, Adolescence, Psychology, Finance,
Health, Clarity in thinking, Stress management, and
the science of living – every aspect of life
finds place in Frozen Thoughts.
Alma Mater has also built a fraternity
of growth-conscious, progressive and like-minded individuals,
The Alumni Association of Almanites, which meets on
a weekly basis and contributes to the growth and development
of every individual associated with it, in all dimensions
of life. Alma Mater has also initiated Alma Mater Mission,
which conducts public programs with the intent of creating
a happier and more evolved humanity and a value-based
sensitised education system.
Alma Mater, as an organisation, hinges
on values and stands for commitment. Today, Alma Mater
organisation is a complete human development force with
trainers, business development managers and counselors,
all backed up by the man behind the mission of Alma
Mater, T T Rangarajan.
